With the Micro Core Technology (MCT), the latest thread technology, Gütermann sets a clear sign for environment, sustainability and customer. Requirements like the limit for reparable dust or similar are easy to achieve with the new technology. Additionally achieves the better energy efficiency by significant process optimation, singel motor drive technologies and compensation of the previously necessary acclimatisation in the production.

The decision and responsibility for a fully integrated factory at one location in Europe reduces significant the CO2 emission by shortfall for additional transports. Convincing for the environment are the lower textile production waste by optimised process ranges of the MCT production technology.

If nothing else the combination of the MCT technology and latest dyeing technology brings a higher efficiency in dyestuff and chemical. This results in lower water consumption and a further decrease of wastewater contamination.

Since many years Gütermann records the production under the instructions and guidelines of the OekoTex Standard 100. All used materials for the production are according to recognised and ecological harmless limits. These also are considered to the new European chemical regulation REACH.

Already today on the safe side with REACH

Gütermann achieves already today all requirements, which the new regulation for registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction for chemicals (REACH) forces from the manufacturers.

The new regulation of June 2007 requires the registration of all used materials until December 2010. The preregistration has already started. And Gütermann takes part. The benefits are obvious for the customers.

All Gütermann threads already now are in accordance with the REACH criteria in Europe – and furthermore worldwide. With Gütermann all customers who also have to document these material are on the safe side.
